We absolutely loved our romantic escape in Carlisle. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, with everything we needed within walking distance. The house itself was clean, cozy, and well-designed, with smart home features that made our stay even more comfortable. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the provided milk, wine, and chocolates, which added an extra special touch to our romantic getaway.

There were a couple of minor drawbacks during our stay. the steep stairs were a bit challenging, especially when carrying our luggage up and down.

Great location with all amenities close by. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfy, ensuring a peaceful and comfortable stay. The shower was powerful and refreshing. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed, including a washing machine. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras like milk, prosecco, and chocolates upon arrival.

The bedroom and shower room were quite small and lacked storage space. The sloping bedroom ceiling could be an issue for taller individuals.

We got incredible value for our money at The Cupboard Villa. The room was a perfect cozy retreat, beautifully finished and equipped with everything we needed. The location was excellent, within easy reach of everything we wanted to explore, including the train station. The staff treated us like valued guests, even leaving lovely surprises like chocolates, wine, and milk in the fridge. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness was truly appreciated.

The breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety.

Helpful host provided thoughtful gifts and useful amenities. Perfect base for exploring the town and nearby attractions. One of the best places we have stayed during our UK trip.

The location of this accommodation was perfect for exploring the town, shopping, and accessing the train station. It served as a great base for visiting the Lakes District and Lancaster as well. The little extras like wine and chocolates, as well as milk and washing powder provided, were a thoughtful touch. The property itself was well-maintained and had a cozy feel to it, with smart home features adding convenience.

Parking could have been better explained, as it was a bit confusing and expensive in some areas. It would have been helpful to have a local map included for better navigation around the area.

The bedroom and shower room are very small with no wardrobes or cupboards for clothing, just a few coathangers on a rail. If you're tall, the sloping bedroom ceiling could be a problem.
